Marianela Pereyra is the host of Daily Download, a program which featured the top downloaded music files everyday. Daily Download shows on FUSE, one of the premier American music networks. The Marianela Pereyra poker connection is two-fold: as hostess of Poker After Dark Season 3 and as a broadcaster at the 2007 World Series of Poker.
Marianela Pereyra is 29-years old and was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Marianela's parents were professional dancers specializing in tangos. The family immigrated to the United States when Marianela was 5 years old (1984). She learned ballet in junior high, an began to take roles in school musicals and plays while in high fool. While in high school, Marianela Pereyra was invited by a local doctor to help with the production of a local Hispanic health show, and she became an assistant producer at the local MHz networks.
Interestingly, Marianela Pereyra graduated from the University of Maryland with a dual degree: one is romance languages and the other in psychology, strangely enough. For those wondering, a Romance language is a language derived from the Roman (i.e. romance) or Latin language. Modern romance languages would be Italian, French, Spanish, Catalan, Walloon and approximately 12-15 other distinct languages or dialects. Marianela graduated cum laude and became fluent in French and Italian.

Like her parents, though, Marianela Pereyra chose a career in entertainment. Marianela came to FUSE ostensibly to host rap/hip-hop shows. She hosted IMX, which later became known as Daily Download. Daily Download was cancelled in late July, 2006, despite being one of the most-watched shows on FUSE. Marianela Pereyra moved over to Get Malled Tour, but it was eventually cancelled, too.
Marianela Pereyra - Poker After Dark
Poker After Dark is a late-night poker show broadcast on NBC. The show pits a table full of poker best and most colorful professionals, including many of the big names of the game. Phil Hellmuth, Mike Matusow and Tony G have all been featured on Poker After Dark, while one of our poker hotties, Clonie Gowen, has won two events on Poker After Dark. Shanna Hiatt was the hostess of Poker After Dark for its first two seasons, but she left due to a pregnancy.
Marianela Pereyra became host for Season 3 of Poker After Dark, but was replaced by Leeann Tweeden for Season 4. The show is aired in other countries besides the United States, including Canada and Germany.

Marianela Pereyra also co-hosted Tailgate Superstars in 2007, where she and Leon Hall travel across the country attending and reporting on tailgate parties. So far, they have attended tailgate events around 2007 college football games, including the Florida vs. LSU game, the Ohio State vs. Penn State game and the LSU vs. Ole Miss game. This is broadcast for the CBS College Sports Network, usually best known as CBS College Sports or even CSTV. CSTV is a multimedia network with online clips as well as satellite and cable access. The CBS College Sports Network is seen in about 20,000,000 American households.
Besides her appearances on CBS CS Network, Marianela worked of NBC Access Hollywood for the 2005 Grammy Award and on Court TV for Hollywood Heat. Marianela Pereyra has made appearances on Cold Pizza on ESPN, Bullseye on CNBC and The Maury Show on NBC. She continues to make occasional panel appearances on Showbiz Tonight on CNN.
Marianela Pereyra has also appeared in numerous magazine spreads. Among her print appearances are Maxim and Billboard, while Marianela also writes a CosmoGIRL column on a monthly basis.
